Australia's Top Android Puzzle/Riddle Games Performance in Q4 2020

The final quarter of 2020 saw interesting trends in the puzzle and riddle games category on Android in Australia. Sensor Tower's data showcases how five leading games performed during this period in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Who is? Brain Teaser & Riddles by Unico Studio experienced a decrease in downloads from 19K in late September to 9K by the end of December. The game's revenue also saw a downward trend, dropping from $142 to $65, while weekly active users declined from 30K to 16K.

For Papers Grade Please! by Lion Studios, downloads peaked at 21K in mid-October before declining to 7K by December's end. Revenue fluctuated, with a notable increase to $29 in the last week of December. Active users reached a high of 34K in mid-October and ended at 19K.

Lion Studios' Clue Hunter saw downloads starting at 6K in September and ending slightly higher at 6K in December. Revenue was negligible and ceased in October. Weekly active users showed an overall increase from 17K to 19K.

SayGames Ltd's Brain Wash - Thinking Game had no reported revenue but downloads decreased from 8K to 6K, and weekly active users saw a decline from 19K in September to 14K by the year's end.

Lastly, Erase Story: Draw and Brain Puzzle by FUNNII, which was released in November, showed a strong start with downloads jumping from 2K in its release week to 10K in the following weeks, then stabilizing around 6K.
